Art Deco Clews & Co Pottery Hand Painted Deep Blue Ceramic Jug.
This gorgeous jug by Clews and Co is part of the art range called 'Chamaleon Ware' which was introduced after WW1 . All colours were hand painted directly onto the biscuit fired pottery which was dipped in a semi-matt glaze before firing. As in this beautiful example ,patterns were bold and geometric and covered most of the piece.
This rare and gorgeous Art Deco jug-vase by Clews and Co will make a beautiful addition to any quality interior or collection, And it would make a beautiful an unique gift for the home.
Colours may vary slightly in the pictures; the jug shows a beautiful deep blue colour.
Condition; really good for its age; inside the vase some wear, light crazing and stains . Outside very good. No chips or cracks.
