Huge Serraguemines majolica wall plaque number 2300 .
This huge and rare to find majolica wall plaque was made in France by Sarreguemines ,during the 19th century and features a gentleman holding a bottle in one hand and a glass in the other with a cheerful expression .
The plaque is in excellent antique condition with no chips, cracks or repairs, but as an antique item shows age and crazing .See pictures,please.
The foot rim has been factory pierced to enable the piece to be hung on a wall .
Diameter 20.4'' or 52 cm approx.
Weights 4.5 kg approx.
This stunning wall plaque displays beautifully and would be a wonderful addition to a collection of antique French pottery. A striking object sure to be a decorative focal point wherever it is displayed.
