Vintage Maw & Co(Stoke on Trent-England) Framed Majolica Tiles Geish Lady Bamboo Wooden Frame 1981 .
Gorgeous hand painted and framed majolica tiles in an oriental style. The wooden frame has a lovely bamboo effect.
This beautiful framed majolica tiles would look great on your home .
The technique of this tile uses the revival of the hand Majolica painting popular in the 19th Century. The tube lined - raised outline, not only creates the subject matter but acts as a Wall to separate colours and effect.
H 43 cm by 23 cm or 17'' by 9'' approx.
Weight 1.8 kg approx.
Condition; the tiles are in good condition with light wear , the frame shows some chips on the front and on the side -see last 2 pics ,please - , but solid . I've reduce the price considering the chips to the frame .
