Pair of Staffordshire Begging Spaniel Jugs,very good quality .Reproductions?.
With Sttafordshire figures is hard to tell an original from a reproduction since there are antique reproductions out there.These I will say are reproductions to be on the safe side,although they are very nicely detailed and show age .
Hand painted and polychromed in various colours, primarily the ears, tails, and spots; one in black and the other in brown glazes. Unmarked.
H 24.5 CM APPROX.
WEIGHT;1.7 KG APPROX.
Condition;good vintage condition; Crazing throughout. Overall age and wear .The handle of the brown dog shows a fine crack(pic 9),apart from this fine cracks in the handle there is no chips or cracks.
