Beautiful and rare brass and pottery inkwell by Linthorpe pottery, that dates exactly to 1905 according to the registration number 43609. It will make a wonderful addition to any quality interior and also a perfect gift for the lover of unusual and beautiful objects that will be treasured forever!
Condition; it’s in excellent original condition with a bit of wear and patina expected as over 100 years old. But generally very good.
A bit of History;
Linthorpe Art Pottery was a British pottery that operated between 1878 and 1890 in Linthorpe, Middlesbrough. It produced art pottery, and is especially known for the early collaboration of the designer Christopher Dresser.
