Mid Century West Germany Rumtopf Pot Fruit Preserving Lidded Jar Crock.
This is the original Rumtopf Jar made by Scheurich in excellent condition. Probably never used. With original vintage recipes.
These lidded jars were filled with rum and fruits and left to rest until Christmas or other special occasions . I bet the rum was tasty ! . It could be used as a simple beautiful storage jar in the kitchen or even better for its original use or just to add a retro touch to your decor.
