Beautiful pink tea cups and saucers that will delight your guest! Imagine serving tea in these gorgeous cups. Also a wonderful addition to any collection of depression glass. Rare to find the complete set of six in wonderful condition.
The Hazel-Atlas Glass Company was a large producer of machine-molded glass containers headquartered in Wheeling, West Virginia. USA.
Formed in 1902 out of a merger between the Atlas Company (circa 1880's) and the Hazel Company. This union started a long history which would later produce the largest glass company in the world.
Unlike many of the dozens of Glass manufacturers of the era, Hazel Atlas excelled in that not only did they produce functional and utilitarian glass, but they were the fore-runner of the household glass production which was an indispensable industry during the formative years of the Great Depression.
Caring for Depression Glass
Like any type of vintage or antique item, proper care and handling are essential.
1. Don’t put it in the dishwasher: The harsh chemicals in dishwashing detergent can damage or dull the color and finish of your glass. Instead, wash gently by hand with mild soap and water. As it's pressed glass some sharp edges might occur, handle with care.
2. Avoid extreme temperature changes.
3. Keep away from children and pets. Not toys.
