Mid Century Modern vase with an abstract geometric relief designed by Vladislav Urban for Sklo Union Rosice Glassworks, in the 1968. 7.7'' High
Made of heavy pressed glass vase and produced by Sklo Union in 1968.
The pattern id called Ice melting vase number 617 and designed by Vladislav Urban for Rosice glass in Czechoslovakia in 1968
The designers of Sklo Union were inspired by simple geometric forms arranged on the glass to catch and reflect the light in a modern way. This design based on a rectangular shape with 2 flat and 2 curved sides. Has four columns of concave indentations arranged on opposite sides of the vase to create a light-pattern that changes according to the angle of the viewer.
7.7'' high by 3.2'' wide.
1.3 kg approx.
This vase will look amazing in a MId Century or contemporary home and it'd make a wonderful gift for the home or collector. Mid Century Modern design at it's peak.
Condition; very good with minimal wear.
