The bookends are in excellent condition, clean, shiny and with very little signs of previous use. The owl figurines are very realistic and have really fine details. Good weight also means that the bookends serve their primary purpose well: holding books on the shelf! This was a gift and the recipient loved them. Bookends arrived extremely securely packaged, which clearly ensured no risk of any damage in transit - it's just unfortunate that there was so much single-use plastic in the packaging. These days better, more environmentally-friendly alternatives are available, so removing one star for that reason. Otherwise, very happy with the choice of the bookends and the quality of the transaction. Thank you!
